Trekking in the Kanchenjunga region requires two essential permits: the Restricted Area Permit (RAP) and the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Project (KCAP) permit. As a restricted area near the Tibet border, permits must be arranged through a registered Nepali trekking agency, and a licensed guide with a minimum of two trekkers is mandatory
he Kanchenjunga region, located in the remote eastern Himalayas of Nepal near the Tibetan border, is one of the country’s most unspoiled and less-traveled trekking destinations.
