Namaste Ganga and family,

We didn’t have to worry about organizing the stay, bookings, or trekking permits — Ganga took care of everything! Whenever we had a question or doubt, we simply sent a message and received an immediate answer. It was just perfect.

When we arrived in Kathmandu, we truly appreciated the warm welcome at the airport and the kindness of Ganga’s family during meals at their home. We enjoyed a wonderful farewell dinner together and received many beautiful gifts. It was such a lovely evening.

The Kathmandu sightseeing tour with Indra was very interesting. He knows so much about Hinduism and Buddhism, and he speaks excellent French.

And what can we say about the trek, guide, and porter? It was simply amazing!

We met Tsewang at Ganga’s home, and immediately we felt comfortable together. During the two weeks of trekking, it felt like traveling with a friend we had known for a very long time. 🥰 He shared so much about Tibetan culture and life, and above all, he always took care of us while respecting our pace and our moments as a couple.

Whenever we had any problem, Tsewang was always ready to help us with a smile. He often said kindly, ‘If you are happy, then I am happy.’ Every trekking group we met told us how lucky we were to have such a wonderful guide — they were even jealous! 😂 Tsewang truly became a friend to us, and if we return to Nepal one day, we sincerely hope he will guide us again.

Toloku, our porter, was incredibly strong and hardworking. Our luggage always arrived safely and on time. He was humble, attentive, and patiently waited for us whenever we stopped during the trek.

We miss Nepal very much. We miss Tsewang, Toloku, and all of Ganga’s team!

One helpful suggestion: it would be good to inform guests that water is not included during the trek. As Europeans, we try to avoid plastic bottles to reduce pollution, and if we had known earlier, we would have brought reusable bottles with filters.
