Accordingly its near legendary reputation draws pilgrims from throughout Asia to walk the sacred path arround the earthly incarnation of the mythical Mount Meru and Lake Manasarovar . Once pilgrimage journey made to this holy site assures the free from the sins of a lifetime.
ITINERARY:
15 Days overland tour (entry / exit Zhangmu) –【Overnight at Guesthouse】
Day 01: Katmandu (1300 mts.) Arrival, our representative will meet at the airport and escort to the Hotel, Free at own and Evening dinner, overnight stay in Katmandu.
Day 02: Katmandu - After breakfast start to Katmandu sightseeing including Pashupatinath and Budha Nikanth Darshan, back to hotel and rest of the day is free for packing and program briefing.
Day 03: Katmandu to Nyalam (3700 mts. - 160kms.), Drive to Kodari and then again drive Zhangmu border to Nyelam (3800m).O/n at Nyelam Guesthouse.
Day 04: Rest day for ACCLIMATISATION at Nyelam with an excursion to Milarepa's Cave. O/n at Nyelam Guest house.
Day 05: Drive Nyelam to Saga (4580m) via Lalung La Pass, Paiku Tso and cross the Brahmaputra river (known here as the Yarlung Tsangpo). O/n at Saga Post Guesthouse.
Day 06: Drive Saga to Paryang (4500m). O/n at Yak Guesthouse.
Day 07: Drive Paryang to Manasarovar (4560m). O/n at Trugo Gompa or Chiu Gompa Guesthouse.
Day 08: Mansarovar to Darchen (4600mts. - 110kms.)
Day 09: Darchen to Diraphuk (4890mts. - 12kms.) - starts to walk
Day 10: Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk (4790mts. - 22kms.) Continue Parikarma over Drolma-la Pass (5610m) to Zuthul-Puk (4700m). Just below the Dolma La is the Gauri Kund. O/n at Guesthouse or camp.
Day 11: Zhulthulphuk to Mansarovar - We will Trek down to Darchen, Drive to Mansarovar fill up spiritual jaal, later our tour starts back for Kathmandu following the same route and same system applies for all subjects of our accommodation and meal.
Day 12: Mansarovar to Dongba/Saga - Drive back to Dongba/Saga.
Day 13: Dongba/Saga to Nyalam - Drive back to Nyalam, which is the last stay in Tibet part.
Day 14: Nyalam to Katmandu - After custom formalities we will be picked up by Nepal side and continue drive to Kathmandu for about 05.00 hours and check into same hotel.
Day 15: Morning check out hotel, transfer to airport, catch flight for next Destination.
