Arun River Rafting

Nepal has four major systems with more than two hundred fifty sizable tributaries. The main rivers are the Sapta Kosi in part very eastern Nepal, Narayani in central western Karnali and Mahakali remote part of western Nepal. Arun is one of the wonders of the tributary Sapta Kosi. It rises on the Tibetan Plateau, north of Kathmandu and then east, swings in an arc for about 200 km to the north side of the drain Mt. Everest and Makalu before cutting south through the Himalayas and Nepal. It cuts through the Himalayas in deep gorges and impressive that have fascinated explorers, travelers, geographers and riders of the river, and flows almost directly south to join the Sun Kosi, shortly before the Indian plain. Besides the fact that Nepal has more than one hundred different dialects and ethnic groups who spoke during the meeting of people rafting is part of the adventure too.
